Drow Dagger

A Drow Dagger, the usual fallback weapon of Dark Elvish warriors. Knife fighting is held in fairly high regards amongst the Dark Elves and is taught along with swordsmanship. A typical Drow dagger has a stout blade with a single, very sharp edge. As well as being a fallback weapon, these daggers are used to get through the gaps of plate armor. While Runic scimitars are the norm, runic daggers are mere comparatively common as they are generally considered a secondary consideration. At the same time, the Dark Elves generally don't have the same reservations about letting Jannissaries use the same style of daggers that they do with scimitars.

In addition to this fairly common style of dagger and various derivatives, the Drow use a wide variety of other specialized knifes. Mainly these are employed by their Assassins' Guilds. There are a fair number of trophies as well. Finally there are a number of specialty weapons, either associated with a particular house, individual or organization. Never the less, this style remains the most common.
