Porcine Wildspawn

Porcine Wildspawn are one of several types of wildspawn found in the Coldlands, most commonly in the Greenridge Forest, Greenridge mountains and the Great Bog. Porcine Wildspawn have a combination of human and boar traits. Porcine wildspan are the smallest of the wildspawn, averaging 160 to 180cm tall for males and 150 to 170cm for females. They have a thick skin covered in bristly hairs. In general, when compared to Cervine Wildspawn they are generally viewed to be slower, clumsier and have less strength in their arms, but at the same time being more resilient and have lethal tusks. While they are more likely to eat meat than Cervine wildspawn, most of their diet is composed of roots, fruit and other vegetation.

Like Cervine wildspan, Porcine Wildspawn they have hooved digigrade feet. Unlike them, they usually walk on the flats of their toes, only standing on their toes when reaching upward or running. They are also notable for being the most quick breeding form of wildspawn, usually having litters of two to four young, but despite this they are less well spread compared to their deerlike relatives. The primary reason for this is believed to be their aggression. Adult porcine wildspawn are far more likely to respond to a situation with fight than flight than Cervine, Ursine or (a fact which suprises many people unfamiliar with them) Lupine Wildspawn. They often get into fights amongst themselves as well as with bears, wolves, boars, wild horses, stags, other wildspawn and humans. This significantly reduces their numbers, as does human efforts at culling them, which are perused far more actively than those on other forms of wildspawn.
