The Science of Clowning

At some point a Genetic Engineer with a surplus of money and some unusual proclivities applied resources to the creation of a race of genetically engineered clowns or, as it was often put to much groaning "the Science of Clowning". Similar to baseline humans from which they are derived, they have a rubbery alabaster biopolymer skin, multicolored hair, a strong affinity for bright colors, a high level agility, a high tendency to express with body language and a mind which constantly tries to find the joke in everything. This makes them prone to antics which can either be amusing or utterly insufferable.
